ESADE was founded in 1958 in Barcelona and today has three campuses in Barcelona, Madrid and Buenos Aires. In 1995 it was linked to the Ramon Llull University. It offers business and law-focused courses, with the latter made up of undergraduate law degrees, master's and refresher courses. In 2010 the Spanish newspaper El Mundo ranked the university as the best in Spain for a master's degree in law. These master's programs consist of international business law, tax consultancy and management and corporate finance and law.

Based in Madrid, IE is a university that was founded in 1973 by a group of entrepreneurs. Today it is a university with a 500-strong faculty and a student body made up of more than 80 nationalities. Its law school offers bachelor's degrees in law in Spanish and English and has a partnership with Northwestern University in the United States in which it offers an executive LL.M master's program. This is designed for working Spanish lawyers who cannot take time off to study in the U.S. The school also offers a master's degree in international legal practice in English.

The University of Seville dates back to the 1500s and is located in the center of the southern Spanish city of Seville. Today it has a student population of more than 50,000 and a faculty of more than 4,000.
