How to Become an Army UAV Pilot

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are important to each branch of the U.S. military. The United States Army uses unmanned aerial vehicles for both enemy reconnaissance and to attack enemy forces. These aircraft are important because they are remotely controlled and the pilot stays behind the lines in relative safety. If a UAV is shot down the pilot cannot be harmed or captured. Young people can become UAV pilots by training in the Army.
