UCLA's Attorney Assistant Training Program offers instruction from practicing judges, attorneys and paralegals. An optional Litigation/Corporations track prepares students for working in a corporate litigation department or in firms specializing in litigation. The program confers a post-baccalaureate certificate, with classes evaluated on a pass/fail basis.

The paralegal certificate program at Hamline offers students the opportunity to earn a certification as a paralegal while working towards their four-year bachelor's degree. Students can also earn just the certificate in nine months. Paralegal students work alongside students of the Hamline law school on special litigation projects. The school is situated in the urban environment of the Twin Cities. Internship at an actual local law firm is a mandatory part of the program.
