Founded in 1885, the North Bennet Street School is located in Boston and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The school's mission is to prepare students to work in professions that use "hands skills" and technology. The jewelry making and repair program trains students to learn the basics of jewelry fabrication and stone setting. Courses are comprised of metal forming techniques, silver and gold fabrication, wax model making, stone setting and working with tools of the trade. Applications are accepted twice a year---in September and February.
