    • The Northwest Regional Training Center offers a night CNA class. The program is 120 hours long, and new classes usually start every month. Requirements include passing a health screening, having a valid driver's license, speaking and writing fluent English and two negative tuberculosis tests. It's also required that students purchase the required textbooks and wear navy blue scrubs to class each day. Students that complete the course will be certified in CPR and HIV-AIDS. Tuition can be paid in full or in two installments, and students who pass the course can take the state nursing assistant exam.

    Pacific Health Care School

    • The Pacific Health Care School is located in Portland, Ore., which is about 30 minutes south of Vancouver. Pacific Health Care School offers a 150-hour CNA course that consists of lecture, laboratory and clinical hours. Students are allowed to take their lecture hours online while completing the lecture hours at Pacific Health Care School and gaining clinical experience in the workplace. Tuition includes scrubs, books, a name tag and criminal background check. Students who complete the course can take the state certification exam.

    CNA Training School of Nursing

    • The CNA Training School of Nursing offers both day and evening classes. Typically, both program options are a month long and are a total of 85 hours, which includes 35 hours of lecture and 50 hours of clinical learning. Along with tuition costs, students must pay for books and other supplies. For admission into the program at CNA Training School of Nursing, you must pass a background check and receive and pass a tuberculosis test. Upon successful completion of the program, students can take the state nursing assistant exam at the school to become certified.
