How to Request a Copy of My GED in Pennsylvania

The General Education Development, or GED, test is generally recognized as equivalent to a high school diploma. In Pennsylvania, people who successfully pass the GED are granted a Commonwealth Secondary School Diploma by the Pennsylvania Department of Education; for those under 18, the diploma is granted on their 18th birthday. This diploma cannot be reissued. However, with it you will also receive a GED transcript. You can request a copy of this transcript for submission to employers or institutions of higher education.
