How to Get Mississippi GED Transcript Scores

It is common to misplace important paperwork, such as your GED transcript, during major events like moving to a new home. If you need your Mississippi GED transcript, it may be time to consider ordering a new copy. The process includes filling out a form and paying a fee.

Instructions

    • 1

Write down as much information as you can remember about the date that you took your GED test and the location of the testing center. This information is key to receiving your transcript.

    • 2

Download and print the Mississippi GED Transcript Request form.

    • 3

Fill out the form and include your name, address, phone number, date of birth and Social Security number and where and when you took the GED.

    • 4

Mail the completed form, along with a cashier's check, certified check or money order. Cash and personal checks are not accepted. As of May 2011, the fee is $5 for a transcript copy, $5 for a copy of your GED diploma, or $10 for both.

The form goes to the State Board for Community and Junior Colleges. The address is on the bottom of the request form.
