The baseball team is part of the Southeastern Conference and has made the College World Series eight times. The Gamecocks play at Carolina Stadium, which seats more than 8,000 fans.

The Clemson baseball team plays at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The Tigers are part of the Atlantic Coast Conference and have made the NCAA Tournament more than 20 times.
The College of Charleston is home to about 11,000 students. The Cougars baseball team is part of the Southern Conference and the team plays at Patriots Point. Postseason play for the Cougars has included playing in three NCAA Regionals and making a Super Regional once.
The Limestone Saints are a Division II school that plays in the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference. The Saints have won their conference once. Limestone is a private college and is in Gaffney. Limestone was founded in 1845 and enrolls about 800 students.
Coastal Carolina University is in Conway and enrolls more than 8,000 students. Coastal Carolina offers 42 degree programs and a variety of athletic programs. Coastal Carolina's baseball team is called the Chanticleers and plays in the Big South. The Chanticleers play at Charles Watson Stadium and have made an NCAA Regional nine times and a Super Regional once.
