The Champion School of Real Estate, established in 1983, has educational options designed for the entry-level student as well as for the seasoned professional who can benefit from continuing education. Students interested in real estate sales or brokerage can choose from a curriculum that focuses on pre-licensing and/or exam preparation. Some of the courses offered include real estate principles, real estate marketing and law of contracts. The exam-preparation course provides a mock exam with national and state sections.
Other programs offered at the school include loan originator, home inspector and real estate appraiser. Similar to the real estate curriculum, these programs offer courses designed to help students meet state licensing requirements as well as continuing-education classes.
Courses are taught by industry professionals, and the curriculum is offered through classroom training, mail correspondence or online correspondence. There are three campuses in the Houston area in addition to locations in Dallas, San Antonio, Coppel and Austin.

The Austin Institute of Real Estate offers a three-step approach to real estate education: technical; business; and financial. The technical aspects include pre-licensing courses, such as the required principles, contracts and agency courses. The business and financial aspects of the curriculum help students focus on building their real estate business and using marketing strategies. The school also teaches students how to recognize significant real estate investment opportunities as well as how to make proper investment analyses. Students have the option to finish their education online, in the classroom or through correspondence.
