ATI Careeer Training Center's dental assisting program is 10 months long, and students are required to complete a four-month internship prior to receiving their certificate. ATI is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. It offers federal and state financial assistance to students who qualify. As of April 2010, ATI Career Training Center has two locations in Dallas.

Concorde Career Institute provides students a certificate in dental assisting that can be completed in nine months. Prior to graduating, students must successfully complete a 6-week internship. Concorde Career Institute has received accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools & Colleges. Kaplan College offers a diploma program for dental assisting and is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. The dental assisting program at Kaplan College is nine months long with an internship of 300 hours. Grants, loans, work-study and state and federal financial aid packages are available to eligible students.
