Students learn clerical skills, such as medical records management and insurance coding. They also learn basic medical skills, such as taking vital signs and venipuncture. Upon graduating, students are prepared to work in an entry-level medical assistant position.

Students also learn to use medical software and basic office skills, then perform an externship to gain real-world experience.
