Southeast Lineman Training Center provides training in the field of line work. Line work constitutes the installation of electrical wires above and below ground. Southeast offers three sessions a year, each lasting 15 weeks. Full-time enrollment is required, but financial aid is available. The current completion time is four months. The course includes commercial driver's license (CDL) training and licensing. The school is located five miles from Rising Fawn in Trenton, Georgia.

The Walker county campus is the closest campus to Rising Fawn. It is located in Rock Springs, Georgia. There are other campuses located in Rome, Calhoun, and Rockmart.
ITT Technical Institute is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Chattanooga campus is 35 miles north of Rising Fawn. This institution offers bachelor's and associate degrees in multiple disciplines, including information and electronics technology, drafting and design and criminal justice. ITT offers day, night and online classes. Financial aid is available for students who qualify.
Chattanooga State Technical Community College provides associate degrees and certification programs in a variety of career fields. Miller-Motte Technical College's Chattanooga campus offers programs in the medical field, cosmetology, dental assistant, criminal justice and massage therapy. Students can earn bachelor degrees, diplomas and certifications online or at the campus for both day and night classes. Miller-Motte began in Wilmington, North Carolina, as a training center for courtroom stenographers. The college has grown into cities across the country while increasing its course offerings.
