    • Clover Park Technical College, with campuses both in Lakewood and South Hill in Puyallup, offers students of all skills the opportunity to refine and certify their trade. Clover Park offers both certificate and degree programs in a wide variety of subjects. Areas of study include aviation, health care, childcare, culinary arts, computer technology, cosmetology, interior design, landscaping, pharmacy technician, mechanics, marketing and retail business. The tuition ranges from $2,000 to $8,000 per year, depending on the type of program (degree or certificate). The majority of the trade courses are taught at the Lakewood campus, while aviation trades and all education courses are held at the South Hill campus.

    Pierce College

    • Pierce College is the largest school in the city of Puyallup offering higher education. The college offers multiple areas of study, including an entire school of professional and technical programs. Pierce offers both associate in technology degrees as well as professional/technical certificates. Areas of study include accounting, business, construction, dental hygiene, computer engineering and many more. The majority of Pierce's professional/technical programs make it possible to complete studies at a four-year institute. Tuition for full-time students is $961 per year, as of 2010.
