Aeronautical Engineering Colleges in Pune

Pune ("punei"), the "Oxford of the East," India's eighth-largest city, located in western Maharashtra state, boasts more than 100 educational institutes and nine universities, but none grant their own four-year degrees in aeronautical engineering. Instead, a handful of non-accredited technical institutes offer multi-year programs to young men and women matriculating at their campuses with the sole aim of preparing them for the Aeronautical Society of India's A.M.Ae.S.I Certificate examinations. Passing ASI's "A" and "B" exams is equivalent to earning a university-level B.E or B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, and it is a coveted ticket to grad school or the job market. This list is alphabetical, hence, a school's relative position on it should not be taken as an indicator of merit or quality. When considering any of these institutes for enrolling, be sure to do a careful due diligence on-site and check if any complaints have been lodged with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
