The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences had its first incarnation in New York City in 1980 as the "Songshop." After moving from New York to Arizona, the school eventually settled on the name Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Students can expect to learn all aspects of sound and music production, which are taught by a qualified professional staff. Small class sizes, internships and access to the latest sound technology prepare them for careers in the music and audio production industries.
