Delgado Community College, largest community college in Southeast Louisiana, services ten parishes. Delgado offers online courses as well as on campus courses. They currently offer a CNA program for their New Orleans Campus and financial aid is available to those students who qualify.

The Mercy Educational Institute is part of the Louisiana Health Education Center provided by the LSU School of Medicine. The Mercy Educational Institute offers a three month Certified Nursing Assistant training course. The Mercy Institute is not eligible for the government issued Pell Grant.

The Louisiana Technical College offers a Certified Nursing Assistant course both online and at their Sidney N. Collier campus in New Orleans.

Cameron College is an adult education center focused on career advancement. The college features a low teacher to student ratio with each classroom having a maximum of 30 students. They offer a full Certified Nursing Assistant certification course. They also offer job placement counseling pending completion of the CNA course. Financial aid is available for students who qualify.
