Vet Assistant Programs in North Carolina

Veterinary assistants, also known as veterinary technicians, assist the vet by holding the animals during examination, fetching and carrying samples and equipment, staffing the front desk, caring for the animals and administering medicines. They may also be involved in educating the animals' owners on care and procedures.
