Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh offers students vocational and technical training in four different fields. The Applied Technologies Division includes traditional blue-collar trades such as welding, plumbing, mechanical drafting, heavy equipment and electronics. The Health Sciences Division allows students to major in a number of allied health services fields such as surgical technology, nursing, medical assisting and dental assisting. The Computer and Engineering Technology Division provides training in database management, programming, interior design, surveying and architecture.
