Sonography Schools in Nebraska

Diagnostic medical sonography (ultrasound) is an important field in the diagnosis of illness. Ultrasounds are used to discover tubal pregnancies and determine due dates for most expectant mothers, and are crucial in the early stages of cardiac and vascular conditions.

Those who wish to become licensed ultrasound technicians in the state of Nebraska must earn at least an Associate of Science degree. The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs has approved three programs in the state, one in Lincoln and two in Omaha.
