Marine Mechanic Colleges

Marine mechanics are responsible for all mechanical and electrical equipment on boats and ships. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), a growing number of marine mechanics are graduates of postsecondary programs. Employers prefer them because they require less on-the-job training. They also advance faster than their non-trained counterparts do. Job prospects in this field are excellent for those who complete training.
