Tampa Bay Technical High School, or TBT, offers extensive opportunities for both adult learners and high school students. Rated as one of the best high schools in 2010 by Newsweek, TBT has an outstanding track record as one of the area's top technical schools. Established in 1969 as the Tampa Bay Vocational Technical School, TBT offers a variety of technical courses, including architecture, health academy, commercial art, journalism, transportation, early childhood, cosmetology, culinary and computers, to name a few. TBT also has a computer network on campus that has over 700 computers in 22 buildings, a closed-circuit television network and an auditorium all on its campus.
Remington College, formerly known as the Tampa Technical Institute, is a technical school in Tampa Bay dedicated to helping students and graduates have brighter futures. Remington College offers bachelor and associate degree programs to their students, as well as diploma programs. Remington College's diploma programs include medical assisting, medical assisting with X-ray technology, dental assisting, cosmetology and personal fitness training.
