Brewster is a vocational and technical school that is fully accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE), which is a regional accrediting agency of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Brewster offers classes in the daytime, evening and online. The school offers educational programs in business, health, computers and industrial careers. Erwin Technical Center is a fully accredited vocational and technical school located just minutes north of downtown Tampa. Erwin offers full-time and part-time programs in the business, medical, industrial and design career fields. Some of the classes at Erwin are offered at night as well as the daytime. Some of the programs offered include accounting specialist, dental and medical assisting, practical nursing, surgery technology, automotive technology, air conditioning and culinary arts. For admission to Erwin, you will need to complete admissions testing and have a high school diploma for some programs.

Concorde Career Institute is located in West Tampa not far from Tampa International Airport and the Town and Country area. Concord is a fully accredited private vocational and trade school that specializes in health care training. Concord offers health care programs in patient care technology, dental assisting, insurance coding and billing, medical assisting, pharmacy technician and surgical technologist. Concord also offers associate degrees in nursing and respiratory therapy. The length of each program varies, but most of them take about 1 year to complete.
