Northern Florida Technical Schools

    • AAA Construction School is for those interested in becoming a general contractor or continuing their construction education The school provides live and online instruction to prepare students to pass the Florida Contractors Exam. The school offers classes in Jacksonville as well as other cities around Florida. AAA Construction School also operates a book store with materials related to state construction exams.

    Keiser Career College

    • Keiser Career College's Jacksonville campus provides a number of programs concentrating in the medical field. These include emergency medical services, medical assisting, practical nurse, medical billing and massage therapy. The school provide working students with flexible schedules, distance-learning classes and financial aid. Admission into a degree-seeking program requires high school graduation or a general education diploma and a written college application (available online). Three semesters are offered throughout the year. Keiser Career College has five additional campuses in Florida.

    Lively Technical Center

    • Located in Tallahassee, Lively Technical Center offers a number of programs for North Florida residents. The center's 33 programs make it one of the most well-rounded technical schools in Florida. Students can study web design, nursing, accounting, food preparation, travel agency operations among others. Length of study and cost varies depending on the program. Financial aid is available to the those who qualify. Students must obtain an enrollment packet from the school to begin the admissions process. Admission require an application and a basic adult education test. The school is also licensed by the state to conduct commercial driver's license tests.
