Created to enhance understanding of Canadian politics and culture overseas, the Faculty Enrichment Program provides full-time university professors worldwide a chance to conduct research in Canada. Each recipient receives partial airfare and a weekly living allowance for up to four weeks. Grants cover topics such as economics, environmental studies and peace studies. Professors from the United States must focus their studies and research on U.S.-Canadian relations. Each grantee must develop a course on Canadian culture to use at his or her university.
