The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation Scholarship accepts applications from high school seniors in select states who are either Native American or an Alaska Native. However, each student must be a member of a tribe or possess legal evidence of being at least one-quarter American Indian. Applications are only accepted from those planning to study math, science, business, education, technology or health services administration. Students also must be U.S. citizens living in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota or Washington. Transcripts, an essay, recommendations and evidence of financial need are also required.
Five awards of $2,500 are usually offered to successful applicants each year. If a student winner maintains successful academic progress, the scholarship can be renewed for three additional years. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required.

The Morgan Stanley Scholars Program is one of five scholarship opportunities run by the American Indian College Fund. This scholarship is open to any eligible Native American or Alaska Native student planning full-time student at a four-year college or university. The Morgan Stanley-sponsored award requires a career interest and/or major related to marketing, business, finance, banking, information technology or accounting.
Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA. The application further requires two essays, recommendations, a color photograph of the student, intended college class schedule for the upcoming semester and evidence of financial need. The program awards five scholarships of $10,000 each.

Ford Motor Company/American Indian College Fund Corporate Scholars Program is open only to eligible, full-time college sophomores, juniors and seniors. Applicants must be at least part Native American or Alaska Native. Evidence of ancestry or tribal enrollment is required. Students must also be majoring in or have a demonstrated career interest in fields such as computer science, engineering, accounting, electronics, banking, finance, information technology, marketing or business.
This program also requires applicants provide evidence of commitment to the American Indian community through relevant leadership experience in Native American or Alaska Native organizations. One award of up to $10,000 is usually offered. Successful applicants had a minimum 3.0 GPA and also submitted a photograph, recommendations, essay and proof of financial need.
