Scholarships for Chemistry

College tuition is a source of concern for many students, and finding funds to reduce that cost can be a challenge. Chemistry students have a number of scholarship opportunities. Many universities offer in-house scholarships for students, and some organizations offer nationwide scholarships for outstanding students or special interests.
  1. The Astronaut Scholarship

    • The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $2.8 million to students studying chemistry, engineering and other sciences. Students may not apply directly for the Astronaut Scholarship; a faculty member must nominate them. Junior, senior and master's-level students are eligible. Nominees must be U.S. citizens and attend one of the 20 universities cooperating with the foundation.
