Educational Scholarships for Black Women

Most African American organizations and foundations provide scholarships to black women. These organizations include the Jeanette Rankin Foundation and the National Hook-Up of Black Women. They either recognize the academic excellence or academic needs of these women. The advantage to these scholarships is that they are not majorly specific. Another advantage is that both younger and older black women are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
