Reading Area Community College is located in Reading, Pennsylvania. Reading Community College's medical secretary associate degree program is four semesters (68 credits) long. The program consists of courses in keyboard use, business mathematics, office management, sociology, psychology, medical terminology and medical coding, among others. Those who successfully complete the program are fully prepared to work as medical secretaries in a variety of health care settings, from hospitals to health insurance offices.
