Tangu Counseling and Treatment Services is named after the Swahili word, "tangu," which means new beginning. Just as the name suggests, this agency helps individuals heal and recover from substance abuse to give them a new beginning. This agency offers two options: the first is with Tangu Incorporated and provides treatment and counseling services for youth and adults, as well as families. The second option is with Tangu Phase Two, which provides substance abuse treatment and counseling services for individuals who are at least 18 years of age.
