The Accelerated Learning Center of Nashville offers an LPN program that students can complete in as little as one year. Those who work full time or have other obligations can opt to take one class per week. Students can transfer old college credits to the Accelerated Learning Center, even if they are 20 years old. An on-site clinical lab is available for students to use as well.

Tennessee State University offers an LPN associate's degree program that prepares students for the NCLEX-RN license exam. This program takes two or three years to complete, and applicants must have completed at least one year of clinical experience or six months of LPN training. Applicants must meet other requirements prior to acceptance into the program, including demonstrated math competency and passing a pre-entrance nursing examination.

The LPN training program at Tennessee Technology Center in Nashville takes less than two years to complete for an Associate in Applied Science degree. This program provides students with hands-on clinical training at the facility, as well as guidance from experienced professionals in the field. Some clinical training and experience is necessary to be accepted into the program.
