North Carolina Colleges for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice

When students think of pursuing a career where they can make a difference, they may first think of being a doctor or a teacher. Another field where you can make an immediate difference in the community is law enforcement or criminal justice. Students in North Carolina who are seeking a career as a law enforcement officer, detective, corrections officer or other related position can choose from a number of local colleges.

    • South College of Asheville, North Carolina offers an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree. Students of this program will learn the basic areas of law enforcement, courts and corrections. Successful completion of this program will ready students for a career in the justice field from bailiffs to criminal investigators.     Chowan Community College
