The bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice at Keiser University offers courses in numerous areas of the criminal justice system. The bachelor's degree program adds the study of ethics, social and personal behaviors, crime and criminal justice and administrative organization. Full-time students can earn an associate degree in 16 months or a bachelor's degree in 32 months. Bryant & Stratton also offers online courses in criminal justice.
Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina offers a criminal justice undergraduate course and a master of science degree in criminal justice and criminology. Courses in the undergraduate program include an introduction to criminal justice, police process, judicial process, corrections, American legal systems, crime and culture, research methods, international terrorism, juvenile justice, theories of crime and justice, forensic investigation, criminal law, criminal procedure and organized crime. At the conclusion of 90 hours of coursework, students complete an internship in a criminal justice office, institution or agency. Required courses in the master's degree program include research methods, the American justice system and social justice, police and society, corrections, court administration, race and minority relations and social stratification. During the final semester, students have the option of writing a thesis, completing an internship in criminal justice or passing a written exam.
