    • Located on 289 acres in a suburb near the state's capital, the College of New Jersey offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology. The study of criminal behavior, tools and methods to examine and prevent criminal behavior and analysis of criminal justice systems are covered in the program. Junior and senior level students who earn a 2.5 grade point average or higher are eligible to participate in the school's internship program at local criminal justice organizations while they continue to pursue their degree. The program covers the role of police in the community, corrections, security, juvenile justice, criminology and criminal law. Students who graduate from the program are qualified to work in police departments as probation officers or in community centers that focus on helping at-risk youth and adults.
