Caribbean Medical Schools

Attending medical school in the Caribbean might seem like a tantalizing proposition to many would-be medical students. Living in one of the world's premier vacation spots might take some of the edge off of medical school studies, but there are some things to consider before you enroll. For example, it may be easier to get accepted to some Caribbean medical schools than to many U.S. schools, but it can make practicing medicine in the United States more difficult. Not all states recognize non-U.S. schools legitimate for licensing purposes. Check with your state if you know where you want to practice medicine before choosing a Caribbean medical school.
