Go to the websites of organizations that offer an ACLS course and exam. One is the American Medical Resource Institute, which claims to be the largest company offering such a program. Other such organizations include Mobile Training Solution and ACLS Recertification Online. Visit different sites and review the options. Choose a course based on price, study materials and ease of access.
Register for the exam course. If you choose to use American Medical Resource Institute, click on the "Course/Test Registration" link on the left-hand side of its website. This will take you to a new page where you can choose which services and any study materials you need.
Enter the required information when prompted. This includes entering your contact information and your billing information.
Click the "Submit" button. This will send your information to the ACLS company. The company you registered for will send you study materials and an exam time.
