The physical therapy program at the University of Kentucky has been educating students since 1967. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education and by the state board of education as well. The physical therapy division works hard to produce students who have the knowledge and ethics needed to treat people with physical disabilities or limited movement. Students will participate in classroom training in addition to service to the public and clinical work. The program requires nine continuous semesters from any student who is accepted. Full time undergraduate tuition for the 2010 to 2011 academic year is $8,610 for in-state students and $17,678 for out-of-state students. Graduate students who attend school full time can expect to pay $9,306 in-state tuition, and $19,174 out-of-state tuition.
