College Summer Programs for Kids

Over the summer on college campuses when most of the students go home or go on vacation or work and don't attend class, there are a number of different summer programs for kids of a wide range of ages. These programs focus on creative themes and classes to just experiencing summer on a college campus.
  1. West Valley College Summer College for Kids

    • West Valley College's Summer College for Kids program has been holding a summer camp for kids in the sixth through ninth grade for nearly 20 years as of 2010. Kids are allowed to select their classes, move from class to class on their own and get the real-life feeling of living within a college environment. There are art classes, ranging from painting to fashion; language and drama classes, ranging from creative writing to theater; business classes, with a young entrepreneurs program; and even science classes, with a series of CSI classes for kids. This is a great way to get your kids excited for college at a very young age and have them learn something in that time.
