The University of Cincinnati offers a comprehensive program that will award graduates with a bachelor's of science degree or an associate's degree with the training needed to pursue a certification in surgical assisting.
Because the certification is combined with the degree the students already have obtained, students are ready to begin work in a hospital or private practice.
