Obtain a minimum high school cumulative grade point average of 2.75. If you are a transfer student, you must also have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 from any schools you have attended. This GPA must be based on 24 or more credit hours, excluding developmental courses which are basic courses in reading, writing or math.
Take the ACT or SAT, although, according to Chamberlain's website, the school prefers the ACT. You must score a minimum of 21 on the ACT or 990 on the SAT. Request the school code from an admission representative at the campus you plan to attend and have your scores sent directly to the school.
Schedule and submit payment for the A2 Admissions Assessment if you are applying for a pre-licensure program. The test evaluates math skills, reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar, critical thinking skills, anatomy and physiology knowledge, levels of stress and preferred learning style.
Call the admissions office at the campus you plan to attend and set up an admission interview. Bring transcripts to the interview for review.
Request an official transcript from your high school. Your school should send it directly to the Chamberlain College of Nursing campus you plan to attend.
Fill out the application for admission.
Mail the application and the $95 application fee to the address listed on the application for the campus where you are applying. You can pay by credit card, personal check or money order.
