For BSN applications, the college requires a minimum ACT composite score of 21, a minimum combined SAT score (math and English) of 990, or an A2 admission assessment score of 75. High school or college GPAs must be 2.75 or better with a grade C or better in any nursing courses. RNS and LPNs must submit their unencumbered licenses.
For ADN (associate's degree--available in Columbus Ohio only), the same requirements apply.
For RN to BSN applicants, a transcript indicating graduation from an accredited RN program, with a 2.0 cumulative grade point average, a minimum grade of C in all nursing courses and an active RN license is required.
For master's applicants, a BSN degree, an unrestricted U.S. RN license, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and a C grade in an undergraduate statistics course are required. If your GPA is between 2.75 and 2.99, probationary status may be granted.
If you attended foreign schools, the transcripts must be presented to the Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Service (NACES) for review and the official transcript must be sent to Chamberlain College of Nursing.
Applicants whose native language is not English must send their TOEFL results to the college. They must have a score of at least 550 on the test.
Master's applicants must have successfully completed four consecutive years of a secondary education or higher in which the language of instruction was English or two years with English-based courses at a post-secondary institution with a GPA of 2.75
