How to Get Into College With a G.E.D

Some students do not complete high school for a variety of reasons. People who do not finish high school must take a General Educational Development (GED) exam, which tests high-school-level academic skills. When passed, the GED indicates that you have the equivalent of a high school diploma. Most colleges accept a GED, but they may require extra references and proof that you can complete projects. Going to a community college for one to two years eliminates those extra hurdles and is cheaper, as well.
