Ask a teacher to write you an academic letter of recommendation, detailing some of your academic accomplishments and describing your positive attributes as a student. Ask an unrelated employer, religious leader, teacher or counselor to write a personal letter of recommendation, detailing some of your personal accomplishments and describing your personal character. Since Pepperdine is a Christian school, an emphasis on Christian values is favorable in a recommendation. If possible, getting a recommendation from a church leader is ideal.
Submit your application and all required materials electronically, along with your $65 application fee, before the Jan. 15 deadline for admission.
