How to Get Into the Pre-Vet Program at MU

If you have a love for animals and a desire to pursue a career as a veterinarian, the University of Missouri, or MU, has a pre-vet program that is a prerequisite to admission into veterinary school. Applicants are required to be either high school seniors or college freshmen when they apply. Becoming a veterinarian requires dedication to the field of veterinary medicine as the classes and programs are difficult for many. The rewards might be worth the effort as many vets work in private practices or animal hospitals and make a good living doing something they enjoy.
