A number of schools in Indiana offer programs in dental assisting, a field the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts to grow by 36 percent from 2008 through 2018. Ranging from large four-year public universities to small private, two-year vocational colleges, Indiana's schools for dental assisting carry the approval of the American Dental Association and accreditation from the Dental Assisting National Board.
