Top 5 Community Colleges in Nursing in Washington

Unlike many other professions that require four-year degrees to get an entry-level job, there are many jobs in the nursing profession that you can obtain with only an associate's degree. Many schools offer two- and three-year programs that lead to becoming a registered nurse (RN). In the state of Washington, there are many community colleges that offer high-quality nursing programs.
  1. Bellevue Community College

    • Bellevue Community College prepares students to enter clinical medical practice as registered nurses with its 2-year associate in art (A.A.) degree program. The curriculum at the school requires entering students to have already completed their general education and prerequisite courses. Admission to the program is selective and requires a full-time commitment. Students pursue lecture classes during the day and clinical coursework during both the day and evening hours. The school has an agreement with the University of Washington's Bothell campus that allows students to acquire a bachelor of science in nursing with only an additional year of classes.
