Lehigh is a private institution that U.S. News & World Report ranked as the 35th-best school in its 2010 "National Universities Rankings." Lehigh has four colleges--the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Economics, the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science and the College of Education--40 departments, 90 undergraduate programs, several master's and doctoral-level degree options and over 2,000 courses, according to the university. For the undergraduate class of 2013, 3,656 students were admitted out of 11,170 applicants and 1,201 enrolled, Lehigh reported. In 2009, the school had 4,856 undergraduate students and 2,118 graduate students.

Moravian was founded in 1742 by followers of John Amos Comenius, a 17th century Moravian bishop, making it the country's sixth-oldest college. The undergraduate liberal arts college, which had 1,533 students in 2009, offers degrees in the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Music. The most popular majors are in art, biology, business, economics, education, English, psychology, music and sociology, according to the school.

Northampton is the fastest growing community college in the state and serves over 35,000 students a year, according to the college. The school's main campus is in Bethlehem with more than 50 satellite sites in four surrounding counties. The college will likely be able to match a program to your interest. The school reports it has career and transfer programs in over 100 fields. The programs include classes in arts and sciences, business and technology, education, health care and social and leisure services, according to the college. It awards three degrees--Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science.
