The Imperial Hotel Management College offers two programs in hotel management; the nine-month Executive Hotel Management Diploma Program and the twelve-month Advanced Diploma in International Hotel Management Program. Both combine theory with practical training by partnering with hotels, restaurants and luxury establishments. Following their studies, graduates can work in the hotel industry directly, or continue their studies in another university in North America or Europe.

Selkirk College offers a two-year Resort and Hotel Management program that prepares graduates to work in the fields of hotel, resort, hospitality and restaurant management. Along with learning in the classroom, students gain practical knowledge by working on events and conferences held at Selkirk College as well as supervising the on-campus Scholar’s Dining Room. Seneca College provides a Hospitality Management-Hotel and Restaurant program that lasts two years with a summer practicum or a co-op placement. Student learn about national and international markets, industry software, leadership, cultural diversity and customer service. During the course of their studies, students also receive certification and training in such areas as Food Handling, First Aid, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems.

Also known as the Quebec Tourism and Hotel Institute, the ITHQ offers several levels of training, including secondary, college, university and continuing education.
