The only college offering accredited Architecture and Landscape Architecture programs in Tennessee is the College of Architecture + Design at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. The school began offering architecture degree programs in 1965, and today, programs include a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture. The five-year Bachelor of Architecture program involves learning about architectural history and theory, technology, digital applications and professional practice, with 70 percent of the curriculum consisting of professional and liberal arts courses and the remaining 30 prcent being electives. The Master of Architecture involves learning about leadership and ethical imperatives that circle designing and architecture. The college also offers a four-year Interior Design program that is top ranked in the state and fully accredited by the Council for Interior Design. Students learn to come up with creative design solutions, effective presentations of design proposals and suitable interior designs.

The College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning at the University of Cincinnati aims to instill creativity, technicality and originality in students through the courses it offers. The School of Architecture and Interior Design offers bachelor's degrees in architecture and interior Design and master's degrees in architecture. These programs prepare students through teaching architectural traditions and principles, requirements of buildings and interior and exterior designing. The faculty encourages students to practice and explore their creativity through a variety of training activities.

Boston Architectural College, an independent college providing education since 1880, offers bachelor's and master's degrees in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and design studies. The institution has a learning model that provides experiential practice in the field and academic learning in the classroom.
