RN Programs in Massachusetts

Many people want to become registered nurses (RNs). People's motivations for becoming RNs vary, though many people say that they want to help people and enjoy the medical field. Residents of Massachusetts who want to pursue becoming an RN will find a variety of educational options.
  1. Anna Marie College

    • Anna Marie College, located in Paxton, offers a two-year RN program leading to completion of an associate of applied science (AAS) degree. The program consists of six consecutive semesters, and students attend classes throughout the year. Classes take place Mondays through Fridays during daytime hours. Clinical rotations are typically during the work week, though are occasionally scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Atlantic Union College

    • Atlantic Union College is an Adventist college located in South Lancaster. The college offers an RN program leading to the completion of an AAS. The program, which is two years in length, requires that students have completed approximately 16 credit hours of prerequisite classes prior to application to the program. Classes start three times each year: in the spring, summer and fall. The program is full-time and meets during the day Mondays through Fridays.

    Becker College

    • Located in Worcester, Becker Colleges an RN program leading to the completion of an associate of science in nursing (ASN). The program, which is four semesters in length, requires a full-time commitment from students. The semesters, which have credit loads of 16 to 19 credits, are demanding. Therefore it is strongly suggested that students in this nursing program refrain from working or partaking in any other time-consuming activities while in the program.
