Video Game Development Colleges

Video game development is inclusive of a wide variety of computer programming and design disciplines. An education in game development fosters both creative and technical skill, but also project management and teamwork skills. Video game development is a field that is growing significantly. According to the International Game Developers Association, the interactive entertainment market yields approximately $9 billion in the United States alone each year as of 2010. Several colleges in the U.S. offer degree paths in game development.
